Nexus Google are not the only smartphones to get Android Nougat. The deployment of the upgrade is in progress on other manufacturers devices. This is the case of LG G5, the flagship smartphone of the Korean brand.
Android 7.0 will soon arrive on the LG G5
The information comes from the Australian operator Optus. The latter is about to test the update on the Smartphone to make sure it works well with its network.
It evokes availability for mid-November. This should also be the case in other operators in the world.
Note in passing that it will be the version 7.0 and not 7.1 milling. The latter is reserved for now Google and Pixel Pixel XL. It will be deployed later on Nexus devices. Milling 7.1 will therefore not be available on devices manufacturing partners before early 2017.
LG is rapid as regards the Android updates
It must be said that LG is never late when it comes out the major updates of Android for its high-end smartphones. For information, the G4 was the first to go under Android Marshmallow last year (after the Nexus, of course). The Android Lollipop update on the G3 was also fast. It is a way for the Korean manufacturer of customer satisfaction.
LG G5, the first modular Smartphone
To recall, the LG G5 was presented at the Mobile World Congress 2016. This is the first modular smartphone brand. It sports an all metal design and has features worthy of a high-end device. a 5.3-inch screen effect is evoked by definition qHD functionality that offers Always On. This mode saves the battery. Under the hood is the 820 Snapdragon Qualcomm processor that offers not only more power, but also improved energy efficiency by 30% through its etching 14 nanometers. The chipset is supported by 4 GB of RAM LPDDR4 and 32GB of storage, expandable up to 200 GB with a micro SD port.
