Facebook Events unveiled a new calendar application dedicated to events via Facebook, initially available only on iOS and only in the United States.
The functionality of Facebook Events
It is clear that Facebook has released a new application, this time coming to events, a function that,as happened to other features of the social network, allowing you to manage separately and concentrated so all features dedicated to social networking events and up to date available only on the main application. As with the mobile version of Facebook and office Events lets you browse what is happening in the area or to accept invitations to join spontaneously. In the diet, it would also present the events of friends and even those organized by commercial pages you have decided to follow. The application allows you to browse the appointments based on when and where would take place, or the personal interests of users throughout the research and an interactive map. Also a calendar function to mark your appointments and you can also add other calendars to competing services like Google and Apple iCloud in order to have an overall look. As was the case in the past with Facebook Messenger or Facebook pages, the company verified that the built-in page has a high popularity (as Facebook has committed about 100 million users), and also wants to improve, perhaps to monetize somehow using his social network.
Anyway, Facebook announced that it would soon be possible for example to purchase tickets directly from the Events events certainly a feature that would be useful. For now, the application is only available on iOS and only in the United States.
