Sharp Corner R: a smartphone with almost borderless screen

Sharp Corner R: a smartphone with almost borderless screen

Sharp may not be the biggest name in the world of smartphone, but that does not mean it can not innovate. The company is known for smartphones that have small edges, and a concept of a recent phone takes this to the next level. The device is called the Corner R, and it makes use of the company's display technology, which essentially allows the company to realize a display in different forms, forms that could be much more interesting than a smartphone screen
Aquos Crystal: another smartphone under Sharp edge

Perhaps the best thing about the display is that it has small bevels, however. This is not the first time we've seen a phone with less edge Sharp. In fact, there is one that is available to consumers at the moment, called Aquos Crystal. Unfortunately, while the Aquos Crystal had a great design, it was decided by less-than-stellar specifications. Sharp screens must be rectangular, they can be cut into any shape really wants the company, which means they can be used for other devices, such as smartwatches and other wearables. The concept of the latest handset Sharp is quite amazing.

The combined R Sharp Corner display

The front of the phone has an IGZO screen now, which sports the slightly curved sides above. The 5.2 inch screen has a resolution of sport 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, counting as much as 425 ppi. To put it in perspective, keep in mind that the Galaxy Note 7 display has 518 ppi. Sharp introduced the concept of smartphone technology expo CEATECH during 2016 in Japan, but has avoided sharing the entire technical specification sheet. Moreover, the company keeps the time on availability or pricing for the next device. Seeing how the smartphone design pool begins to shrink, new approaches such as Sharp Corner R is a great way to bring new blood to the family. Another thing to expect is the increased availability of the device outside of its home market of Japan.
