Huawei Mate 9 confirms the Leica brand dual camera

Huawei Mate 9 confirms the Leica brand dual camera

The dual lens camera on the Huawei Mate 9 was the subject of much speculation in recent months. First it was leaked showing the dual camera configuration, but in a different configuration of Huawei P9, then came the news of a 12-megapixel camera or 20 megapixels. But throughout these leaks and rumors, we did not know if the Mate 9 would have the Leica camera brand like his brother P9.
However, a new leak on the Chinese site Weibo shows that Mate 9 would have the Leica brand, on a new series of rendered images. The Leica logo can be seen between the two lenses and they claim to have an aperture of f / 2.0, which improves the f / 2.2 to P9. There is no real surprise to see Leica appearing on a second phone Huawei since both companies have agreed to a partnership and opened a research and development jointly implemented at the headquarters of Leica in Wetzlar, Germany . The collaboration was formed to produce a "wide range of photographic devices and mobile applications" and "computational imaging, augmented reality and virtual reality solutions."

The different variants of the Huawei Mate 9

It seems that Huawei takes camera technology inside its smartphones very seriously and it is not just a marketing strategy to attract customers. The slides leaks reported in Weibo also give away three levels of the phone with varying amounts of storage and memory, with different colors reserved for each level. The entry-level model would have 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and is available in graphite, silver and gold. The next phone would have 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and is available in graphite, white, gold, pink gold, while the top-level model would 6GB RAM, storage of 256GB and have options of six colors: graphite white gold, black, brown and pink gold.

Huawei Mate 9 was originally scheduled to be released in December, but is now postponed to November. Whatever month it came out, we will certainly see him before Christmas.
