Windows 10: a rate of adoption which slows

The new operating system from Microsoft (although it dates from more than a year we always have this habit of calling new system) continues to progress now, but the pace starts to decelerate. Windows 10 is available on 400 million devices by the time we talk.
Microsoft launching its operating system thought to reach one billion downloads in a year, seeing that it was not like the firm thought it reduced its target. During the opening of its Ignite conference is intended for IT professionals yesterday, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 is now on 400 million devices including desktops whether portable or stationary, tablets, smartphones, Xbox One, Hub area and HoloLens devices. The pace seems to have slowed since as a reminder, the 300 million Windows 10 turning devices were reached last May, a month later the figure rose to 350 million, we can see that the pace is still acceptable. But since the migration to Windows 10 was no longer free, just only 30 million are facing this OS from Microsoft.

Microsoft was very ambitious with its billion

The Redmond giant wanted to reach one billion users over a period of one year, the firm now has not even reached half a billion, meaning perhaps that this goal will be reached that next year. Microsoft has already felt the goal he had set was so ambitious that he decided to postpone it. The market research firm Netmarketshare the last August said that Windows 10 has captured 22.99% of market share in the global market for operating systems installed on computers. Windows 7 for its part still dominates with a share of 47.25%. We can see that on the operating system market leader Microsoft is the PC but on the mobile OS market the firm barely reach 5% share.
