Connected watches are famous for having low battery life. Xiaomi, in collaboration with Huami, said he found a solution with his new Amazfit Bip watch sold for just $ 100.
Waterproof, this watch is equipped with a screen of 1.28 inches (176x176 pixels) protected by a Gorilla 2.5D glass. It is distinguished by its lightness with only 32 grams on the scale. Its future buyers will be able to choose between 4 colors: black, white, khaki and orange.
But the real innovation of this accessory is that it could be used for more than a month in a single charge, with a small battery of 190 mAh. This autonomy of 30 days, Xiaomi gives it for a diagram where (almost) all the functions of the watch are activated. Thus, one could gain 15 days of autonomy more if one decreased the frequency of the notifications. On the other hand, the activation of the GPS would considerably reduce this autonomy which would then ceiling at 22 hours.
