The next Apple Watch could incorporate an electrocardiograph

The connected watch from Apple has the ability to detect and display your heart rate. However, this one does not yet have the ability to determine if you are going to have a stroke or a heart attack. That's why Apple is developing an ECG (electrocardiogram) system that will be integrated with the next version of the Apple Watch.

Bloomberg revealed that the next watch will be able to send an imperceptible electrical signal directly to your chest to track electrical signals in the heart and detect any abnormalities such as irregular heart rates. This means that you will be able to perform an electrocardiogram test at any time.

The advantage of integrating such a system into a portable connected object is that it is always on your wrist is that you can test yourself at any time, rather than waiting to visit a doctor's office and that this could be too much later.

For several months, Apple seeks to make his watch more useful especially in the field of health. Last month, the company partnered with Stanford Medicine to conduct research on irregular heartbeats using the smartwatch and an iOS app. If the light sensors under the watch detect changes in the blood flow of your wrist, you will be asked to consult a doctor for free during a video call.

Tim Cook also suggested the creation of a blood glucose monitoring system for the Apple Watch, but the CEO did not provide more details on this device supposed to help you manage your diabetes.
