While the smartphone has been talking about him for several months already, LG launched this Wednesday an invitation for the official presentation of his V30. This should be announced on 31 August at the IFA in Berlin.
If LG relies mainly on its G range for high-end smartphones and the entry-level Q range, the Korean manufacturer does not seem to have forgotten the V-stamped smartphones. Like the LG V20, A dual screen front, this range of smartphones highlights innovation for the manufacturer. A state of mind that should always be present with the LG V30, which should be officially presented on August 31 in Berlin. On his Korean blog, the manufacturer has indeed issued an invitation for August 31 at 9am in Berlin. "The invitation was designed in the form of a letter V using light reflected in a smartphone with a screen in 18: 9 format," says LG. This will make it clear that like the LG G6 or the LG Q6, the LG V30 will also have a borderless screen in 18: 9 format.
The official characteristics of the LG V30 are still unknown. A few weeks ago, journalist Evan Blass suggested that the smartphone could be equipped with a sliding keyboard with a second screen below the main display. In April, the Korean site The Investor said that the V30 would be equipped with a curved screen, like the Samsung Galaxy S8. Finally, according to the Android Pure website, the smartphone would be the first of the manufacturer to be equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor, the most powerful designed by Qualcomm. The G6 had been widely criticized for the presence of the Snapdragon 821 and the delay compared to the competition of the Galaxy S8, unveiled a few weeks later.
More information about the LG V30 will be available on 31 August at the IFA, Berlin's high-tech trade fair.
