Apple has been working on face recognition technology since it launched its first iPhone phone 10 years ago


According to the latest leaks and rumors, the iPhone 8 is expected to be launched in the face recognition system this fall.
Some reports have suggested that this technology will replace the Touch ID sensor completely, while other rumors suggest that the technology will be integrated as an option Second to the user along with fingerprint scanner.

Rumors also suggested that the next phone may be a month late due to Apple's new technology to identify the face, but a new Apple Insider report says Apple has been working on the technology for years. Some of the patents discovered by the site indicate that Apple Worked on technology at least 3 years ago.



 The site also revealed that a series of patents related to the technology or components to be used on the device dates back to 2007, where a patent was introduced in 2013 similar to the face recognition system expected to be launched on the iPhone 8, referring to the name Tony Fadell as inventor, Interestingly, this employee has left Apple since 2007, which means, according to some reports, that the company has been working on this technology since the launch of the first phone for iPhone in 2007.
