Smart accessories and clothes seem to be the next big trend. After the denim shirt from Google and Levi's, here are the smart shoes from Digitsole.
Called Smartshoes, intelligent sneakers function as a sort of tracker. The shoes will analyze the number of steps taken during the day, as well as the number of calories expended. They can also adjust the temperature inside. The user can track all his data from an application on his smartphone.
Digitsole, which is a French company launched its smart shoes project on Kickstarter. By 2014, the Nancy company had already launched an intelligent sole capable of most of the features present in the Smartshoes. Digitsole wanted to go further by offering shoes.
The Smartshoes would even be equipped with an automatic closing system and an IP66 certified dust and water resistance.
