THIS IS FINISH, FACEBOOK DOES NOT EXCEED THE BATTERY OF YOUR SMARTPHONE

Many of you may have noticed: Facebook application tends to be particularly battery-powered on iOS and Android phones.
A recent update had even made things worse on Android, which led several users to complain. Good news: the problem should be solved.

It must be said that the abnormally high consumption of Facebook is not a novelty. The social network was already aware of this flaw, but the latest update of Messenger had only made things worse. Some users have even said they see their battery drained by 1% per minute, simply unimaginable in the long run.

David Marcus, vice president of the messaging division of Facebook, took the case in hand. Recently, he said that the problem had been resolved on the server side, requiring only a restart of applications to bring them back to normal. The fix seems to work, since several users claim that Facebook and Messenger have actually disappeared from the list of energy-hungry applications. Spread the word!
