Apple's new MacBook Pros could look a lot like the 12-inch MacBook

New leaked photos obtained by Cult of Mac allegedly show the keyboard section of the highly anticipated MacBook Pro laptop refresh that Apple is expected to announce this year.
If the leaked photos are accurate, the new MacBook Pros could look very similar to the 12-inch MacBook.
The 12-inch MacBook is Apple's newest addition to its laptop family, and it appears that Apple will borrow from its design for its updated MacBook Pro laptop refresh.
Here's a comparison of the leaked MacBook Pro keyboard against the 12" MacBook's:

It looks like the cutout for the hinge on the leaked image is as narrow as the 12" MacBook's. That's a lot narrower than the hinge cutout on the current MacBook Pro, shown below:

In the leaked image above, there also appears to be a section designed for the OLED row of function keys above the number. It's speculated that these will be customizable so users can do things like open certain apps or perform specific functions with different keys.
There are more photos of the keyboard section in Cult of Mac's report that show different angles, too. One of the photos shows the keyboard sections from the side to show the section's thickness, and it doesn't look like it'll be that much thinner than the current MacBook Pros.
The leaked images line up nicely with notorious KGI Securities' analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, who predicted that Apple is planning to update its lineup of MacBook Pro laptops with an OLED row of keys above the main keyboard.
Apart from a refreshed design and an OLED row of keys on the keyboard, Kuo also predicted the new MacBook Pro is said to have Touch ID and USB-C ports.
Kuo also predicted we'd see the refreshed MacBook Pro between October and December of this year.
