Samsung, foldable phones are becoming a little more reality

smartphone-pliable

A video published by SlashGear demonstrated a prototype Samsung foldable screen, which wraps around an axis. One item that is approaching more and more of its trade.
The Samsung screen prototype, presented at a conference of the brand, is a 5.7-inch OLED tile, a 1080p resolution, with a thickness of 0.3 mm, with a weight of 5 grams. However, this thickness corresponds to the table without touch screen. This screen can not be used as a simple display in the state. When integrating a smartphone, it will add that element and a battery power supply, which may limit the opportunities to bend the screen ..

In the video filmed by our colleagues at SlashGear we can see that the Samsung prototype folds, or more precisely wraps around an axis to form a circle of two centimeters in diameter. This video was filmed at a convention exclusively centered around the screens, the Display Week in San Francisco, which runs from May 22 to 27

Impossible not to mention the Samsung Galaxy X, a product fantasized by many users of the Korean giant for its supposed ability unusual, since it is supposed to bend double. This would choose to use only part of the screen or join the two halves to double its screen surface.
