Apple adds Paypal as a means of payment on the App Store and iTunes

Apple has added a new payment option to its various platforms. Now, an Apple user will be able to make purchases on iTunes and App Store with his Paypal account.
So far, if a user wanted to make a purchase on Apple's online services, his choices of payment were limited to credit card, debit card or gift card. From now on, users will also have the option to pay using a Paypal account.

In general, the US giant is quite reluctant to use third-party services and the addition of Paypal can spark surprise. However, it seems that this time Apple is willing to make an exception in order to encourage users to pay more. PayPal users will be able to shop on iTunes, App Store, Apple Music and iBooks from their iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The Paypal option is already available in some countries including France. It should expand to other markets gradually.
